In October 2025, ARTES returns to collaborate once again with Thai-Australian ceramicist @menom_som, presenting an expanded and evolved collection of 60 one-of-a-kind sculptural candles, where body meets fragrance, and memory is poured by hand.
This is more than a collaboration. It’s a continuation of a conversation about craft, scent, and the art of slowing down.
The Collaboration: Where Clay Meets Memory
Som, known for her iconic body positive mugs, has long celebrated the diversity of women’s and men's bodies through functional sculpture. Her pieces are raw, tender, playful, and powerful; and in this latest drop, they become vessels for scent, sculpted to be held and lit.
Each piece in the collection is:

Hand-built by Som and hand-filled by ARTES

Poured with ARTES’ signature wax: a natural blend known for clean burn and strong throw

Infused with fine fragrance oils: carefully selected for emotion, ritual, and story (including 3 yet-to-be-released scents)

One-of-a-kind: no two mugs or scent pairings are the same
This is a limited release. Once these pieces are gone, they will not be recreated.
The Wax Palette: Scent as Colour
Each candle is colour-coded with tinted wax and a label system that helps you find your perfect match whether you’re drawn to clean, floral, warm, or spiced.
